Silicone Extrusion That Seals, Protects, and Performs
Silicone extrusion is not like rubber extrusion. The difference matters when parts face high heat, steam, or strict food contact rules. Many companies run standard rubber compounds but struggle with silicone's tacky cure and tighter tolerances. Arcadian specializes in both. Our company runs dedicated silicone extrusion lines with precise temperature control and in-line post-curing.
The result is consistent profiles, smooth surfaces, and reliable performance from -65°F to 500°F. To understand silicone extrusion and how rubber extrusion works, look at how the materials act. Rubber cures fast and comes off the tool easily. Silicone requires controlled heat zones and often needs post-cure ovens to reach full physical properties.
Arcadian has completed over 1,385 projects across 17+ industries. The team develops extruded sealing profiles for automotive, medical, food processing, and industrial equipment. Every order starts with a material review, die design, and sample run. No guessing. No Temporary fixes for custom problems.

Silicone Extrusion Products
Arcadian generates a complete range of silicone extrusion profiles for industrial, medical, and food processing applications. Each product starts with the right material and die design.
- Solid Cord & Round Profiles – Basic gaskets and spacers for general sealing. Available in multiple durometers and standard diameters from 1mm to 25mm.
- Hollow Bulb Seals – These compressible seals fill gaps on doors, hatches, and enclosures. The hollow design means you don't need much force to close, but the seal stays tight.
- U-Channels & Edge Trims – Slip-on profiles that protect wiring and cover sharp metal edges. No glue or special tools needed for installation.
- Custom Extruded Sealing Profiles – Complicated shapes with several sealing lips or built-in mounting features. Designed from scratch for each application's gap size and how much it needs to compress.
- Smooth-Bore Tubing – Fluid transfer and peristaltic pump applications. Wall thickness held to ±0.005 inches with no ovality or thin spots.
- Reinforced Silicone Hoses – Braided or spiral reinforcement for pressure and vacuum service. Withstands burst pressures up to 10x working pressure.
- Die-Cut Silicone Gaskets – Flat gaskets come from extruded silicone sheet or cord. Good for flange sealing and any custom port pattern you need.
- Food Grade Extrusions – FDA-compliant silicone for dairy, bakery, and beverage equipment. Processed on dedicated lines with full material traceability.
Why Choose Us?
Arcadian brings together extrusion and silicone molding services under one roof. The company runs silicone-dedicated extruders, post-cure ovens, and in-line cutters. The team includes compounders, die designers, and process engineers who speak the language of silicone, not just general rubber. Every Silicone Seals & Gaskets order begins with a material review. Does the application need FDA compliance? High tensile strength? Tear resistance? The answers drive compound selection and cure parameters.
The company has served over 670 clients across 17+ industries. Completed projects exceed 1,385. No upfront engineering fees for prototypes. Just a 20-minute strategy call to review the application, select the right silicone grade, and develop a production plan. One partner from the extrusion die to the final cut length.

Food Grade & High-Temperature Applications
Standard rubber extrusion compounds like EPDM or nitrile work fine for many applications. But put EPDM in a commercial dishwasher, and it absorbs water. Exposing nitrile to dry heat over 250°F, it hardens and cracks. These materials have limits. Food Grade & High-Temperature Silicone Extrusion Services solve both problems. Silicone repels water and steam. It does not swell or lose sealing force in wet environments. At the same time, it handles dry heat up to 500°F without post-curing or hardening. Oven door gaskets, steam table seals, and autoclave profiles all demand silicone.
Arcadian runs platinum-cured silicone for food contact applications. The material passes FDA 21 CFR 177.2600 and works with dairy, meat, bakery, and beverage equipment. Extruded sealing profiles maintain flexibility after thousands of cleaning cycles with harsh sanitizers.
For high-temperature industrial applications, we provide peroxide-cured silicone with higher tensile strength. Applications include oven conveyor belt guides, furnace door seals, and exhaust system isolators. Silicone extrusion vs rubber extrusion becomes obvious in these environments — rubber fails, silicone keeps sealing. Arcadian helps clients make that material decision before building expensive tooling.
